The Usage of Brass blind rivet nuts

Brass blind rivet nuts are used to create a strong and secure threaded connection in thin materials, such as sheet metal, plastic, or fiberglass. They are often used in applications where access to the back of the material is limited, making it difficult to use traditional nuts and bolts.

To install a brass blind rivet nut, a hole is drilled in the material and the rivet nut is inserted from the front side. A special tool is then used to pull the mandrel of the rivet nut, causing the back end of the nut to flare out and grip the material. This creates a secure threaded connection that can be used to attach other components or fasteners.

Brass blind rivet nuts are commonly used in automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries, as well as in construction and manufacturing applications. They offer a reliable and efficient way to create strong threaded connections in thin materials, without the need for access to the back side of the material.
